This is me
I grew up in Calgary, Alberta, where I was shaped by a strong entrepreneurial environment. From a young age, I knew that creativity would be at the heart of everything I did. Feeling inspired by my parents, I started my own graphic design business, HeyHippie, when I was 18 years old. For me, art has never been just about creating beautiful visuals; it’s always been a way to express myself, a safe space where I could truly be me. Having my own business also meant that I had the potential to create inspiring work for other people.
I earned my Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design and Advertisement from the Alberta University of the Arts in the Spring of 2023. My creative journey revolves around illustration and brand design, where I aim to craft designs that are not only visually striking but deeply personal and meaningful. The process of creating is something I pour my heart into, each project is an opportunity to bring a unique story to life.
I’m constantly motivated by the chance to learn and grow. I find inspiration in the past, drawing from the nostalgia of vintage and retro aesthetics, as well as from the timeless beauty found in nature and the people around me. My passion lies in transforming ideas into visuals that resonate, and I truly love helping others bring their visions to life with authenticity and creativity.
